Demolition of existing conservatory and proposal for a new single storey extension. Planning permission was required as the dwelling had already been extended and the depth of the proposed extension exceeded permitted development rights. The thermal performance of the fabric had to be calculated and improved to allow high % of glazing. The new extension will be built in brick and have wrap around glazing with a continuous window seat.  A large rooflight will ensure daylight is maintained to the existing kitchen area.
